Harrisburg Senators @ Reading Fightin Phils
September 2, 2027 · 6:45 PM · 1950 Centre Ave, Reading
About the event
Double-A baseball comes to FirstEnergy Stadium when the Harrisburg Senators visit the Reading Fightin Phils. Reading is the Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, while Harrisburg carries the Washington Nationals banner, so both dugouts are stocked with players working their way toward the majors. The two clubs share the Eastern League, and the short drive between the cities gives the matchup a regional flavor that Berks County fans know well.
The ballpark itself is part of the draw. The grandstand dates to the early 1950s and the concourses are lined with tributes to the city's baseball past, including the plaza honoring Reading's retired numbers and Hall of Fame years. The plaza area on the first base side opens ahead of the seating bowl with concessions, picnic tables and room for families to settle in early.
Between innings the crew keeps something happening on the field, and the sightlines put you close enough to hear the game. First pitch is at 6:45 PM.
Hosted by Reading Fightin Phils on BerksConnect.
