About the event
Jo Koy brings his Koy Meets World Tour to the Santander Performing Arts Center on Thursday, February 18, 2027, with the show starting at 8:00 PM and doors opening at 7:00 PM. His stand-up draws on family, culture and the everyday moments of his own life, a style that has carried him from a Las Vegas coffee house stage to sold out rooms around the world, including Madison Square Garden, The Forum, the O2 Arena and Mall of Asia Arena.
Many in the audience will know him from his Netflix specials, among them Live From Brooklyn, Live From The Los Angeles Forum, Comin' In Hot and Live From Seattle. He also starred in Universal Pictures' Easter Sunday, a film shaped by his Filipino heritage, and has appeared in Disney's Haunted Mansion, Mr. Iglesias and Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens, plus voice work in animated features such as Leo and The Monkey King.
Off stage, Koy has championed Filipino representation in entertainment as an executive producer of the documentary Nurse Unseen and a producer of the Broadway musical Here Lies Love. He wrote the memoir Mixed Plate: Chronicles of an All-American Combo, and the cities of Honolulu, Daly City and Los Angeles have each proclaimed a Jo Koy Day. Downtown Reading makes an easy night out for the show, with parking and restaurants within walking distance of the theater.
Hosted by Santander Performing Arts Center on BerksConnect.
