Jo Koy brings his Koy Meets World Tour to the Santander Performing Arts Center on Saturday, March 14, 2027 at 8:00 PM. Koy built his following the long way, starting out in a Las Vegas coffee house and going on to sell out arenas around the world, including Madison Square Garden, The Forum and the O2 Arena. His stand-up draws on family, culture and everyday life, the kind of storytelling that lands whether you grew up in a big loud household or just know one.
If you have caught his Netflix specials, among them Live From Brooklyn, Live From The Los Angeles Forum, Comin' In Hot and Live From Seattle, you already know the rhythm of his sets. He has also worked well beyond the comedy club, starring in Easter Sunday, appearing in Haunted Mansion, Mr. Iglesias and Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens, and voicing roles in animated features.
Koy is a steady advocate for Filipino representation in entertainment, with credits that include executive producing the documentary Nurse Unseen and producing the Broadway musical Here Lies Love. The theater on North 6th Street offers a more intimate setting than the arena stages he usually fills, which makes this a good night out for Berks County comedy fans.
