Reading Coffee Company hosts a hands-on latte art class led by Beverage Director John Cappelletti at its Birdsboro shop on West Main Street. The evening opens with a short talk on the science behind steaming milk, then moves straight to the machines so you can put the ideas to work.
Participants practice building the right milk texture, pouring basic shapes, working with alternative milks, and moving toward more complex patterns. Cappelletti also covers the small habits that tend to trip people up along the way, and the class wraps with an open discussion and question period.
The session suits anyone curious about espresso at home, from someone who just unwrapped a machine to a longtime coffee drinker weighing whether to buy one. Nothing to bring along, though closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing are recommended since the workshop involves hot equipment and liquids.
