About the event
Reading Coffee Company opens its Birdsboro shop for an evening of hands-on latte art instruction led by Beverage Director John Cappelletti. The session starts with a short talk on the science behind steaming milk, then moves to practice at the machine, where you will work on milk texture, pouring shapes and the habits that make patterns come out clean.
The class covers alternative milks and builds toward more complex patterns, with time set aside at the end for questions. It suits home baristas who want professional-level guidance, anyone who received an espresso machine as a gift and wants to use it well, and newer coffee enthusiasts still deciding whether a home setup makes sense for them.
No supplies are needed; everything is provided at the shop. Because the workshop involves hot equipment, steam and hot liquids, closed-toe shoes and practical clothing are recommended, and participants should let the instructor know about any allergies, sensitivities or physical limitations beforehand.
