Pumpkin People of Wyomissing
October 1, 2026 · 10:00 AM · Wyomissing, PA
About the event
Pumpkin People take over Wyomissing this October, turning ordinary pumpkins into characters, scenes, and full displays across the Borough. Residents, businesses, schools, clubs, and whole neighborhoods are invited to build their own, and the results run from spooky to silly to wonderfully elaborate. The idea comes from the Pumpkin People tradition in Jackson, New Hampshire, reimagined for Berks County front yards and storefront windows.
Registered displays are added to the official Pumpkin People of Wyomissing map, so visitors can plan a route and go hunting on foot or by car. Grab the kids, meet up with friends, pick up a coffee or cider, and spend an evening tracking down as many as you can find. A People's Choice Award lets you vote for the displays that stand out.
Anyone who wants to build a scene can register through Wyomissing Parks and Recreation, which will also share display locations and the map through its social media and email updates.
Hosted by Wyomissing Borough on BerksConnect.
