Reading FilmFEST brings independent cinema to downtown Reading, with screenings and programming centered at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts and continuing at R/C Reading Movies 11 & IMAX. The lineup gathers work from local, national, and international filmmakers, including feature films, documentaries, animation, and shorts.

There is more here than screen time. Filmmaker Q&As and panel discussions put audiences in the same room as the people who made the work, and educational workshops and special presentations give a closer look at how films come together. Student films and locally produced works share the schedule with entries from around the world, and the festival closes out its slate of special events with an awards ceremony.

It suits dedicated movie buffs and anyone simply looking for a different way to spend time downtown. Expect new stories, fresh perspectives, and a chance to talk with the creative minds behind them. Full lineup and screening times are posted at readingfilmfest.com.
