GoggleWorks opens the second and third floors for a self-guided studio crawl, where visitors can wander the hallways, take in the artwork on display outside the studios, and step inside to see where it all gets made. You set the pace, so linger where something catches your eye and keep moving when you are ready.
Studio artists are encouraged to be on hand from noon to 4 p.m., which makes this the best window to catch them at work, ask about a piece, or hear how a project came together. Conversations happen easily here, and running into a neighbor is part of the fun.
Bring family, bring a friend, or come on your own and meet a few people. It is a relaxed afternoon among painters, makers, and the creative energy that fills the building.
