The Barnstormers bring their four-part men's chorus to Trinity Lutheran Church in Kutztown for an evening of singing in the sanctuary. The group sings TTBB choral music, with tenor, baritone and bass voices blending on a program that draws from patriotic songs, spirituals, traditional folk material and selections from the musical theater catalog.

The chorus works differently from most singing groups. Members gather only a few times a year, coming together from across the Northeast for a concentrated weekend of rehearsals that leads straight into the Saturday evening performance. That format gives the concert the feeling of a gathering as much as a program, and the singers usually offer additional music at a Sunday morning service before heading home.

The Barnstormers perform at host locations throughout the region, and their concerts are open to anyone who wants to come and listen. It makes for a straightforward night out in downtown Kutztown for neighbors, families and anyone who enjoys choral singing.
