About the event
The Sixties Show brings its 1960s music re-creation to the Santander Performing Arts Center on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 7:30 PM. The New York City company builds its award-winning Off-Broadway production around a live concert that reproduces the decade's songs note for note, reaching past the familiar hits into B-sides and deep album cuts. The cast includes current and former players from the bands of The Who, The Rascals, and John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival.
This is a concert wrapped in a full stage production. Narration, archival 1960s audio and newsreel footage, a light show, and time travel effects frame the music, so the songs arrive alongside the era that produced them. Everything is played live with no backing tracks, on period vintage and reissue instruments matched to the original recordings, and the band performs in 1960s mod attire.
It is a night built for a wide range of ages, whether you lived through the decade or grew up hearing the records later. Doors and seating details are handled at the venue on North 6th Street in downtown Reading.
Hosted by Santander Performing Arts Center on BerksConnect.
