About the event
Willow Glen Flea Market fills the grounds at Willow Glen Park in Sinking Spring with rows of open air vendor booths, and the early start is part of the tradition. Shoppers arrive at first light to work through tables of fresh produce, antiques and collectibles, handmade crafts, clothing, tools, and the sort of secondhand odds and ends that reward a slow walk and an open mind.
Come hungry. The market doubles as a food festival, with a lineup of vendors serving breakfast sandwiches, fresh cut fries, funnel cakes, and dishes drawn from kitchens around the world. You can eat on the property or carry something home for later.
The market runs Sundays through the season, weather permitting, and the setting makes it an easy outing for families. There is a playground on site, parking in the lot, and level ground for browsing at your own pace. Many vendors work in cash, so it helps to bring some along.
