Adult Tennis at the Sinking Spring YMCA
In progress since Sep 1, through Aug 11 · Member $0.00, Non-Member $0.00 · Ages 18 and up

About the class
The Sinking Spring Y offers adult tennis for players of all levels, whether you are picking up a racquet for the first time or sharpening skills you already have. The program is led by Ryan Knarr, Director of Racquet Sports, and Kaushik Das, Head Pro of Racquet Sports, both USPTA, PTR and Etcheberry certified.
Group clinics run during the indoor season. Cardio Tennis meets Tuesday evenings and mixes drills, fast movement and live ball play to build fundamentals, agility, coordination and endurance; it suits beginner to intermediate players. Drill and Chill, taught by Kaushik Das, meets Thursday evenings and blends high energy drills, live point play and tactical feedback for intermediate to advanced beginner players. Clinics are bought in packages of session credits.
Private lessons are one on one, shaped around your goals and playing style, and are available year round. Duo lessons for two players are also offered. After you register, a YMCA tennis pro will contact you about scheduling. Members can walk on to open courts or reserve up to 24 hours ahead in the Court Reserve app, one hour per group of up to four players; all players need a membership or a day pass. Courts can also be rented for one time play, and groups wanting the same weekly court time can ask about a season rental contract, which requires a roster of players.
