Stammtisch Conversation Group at Sinking Spring Library
Starts Sat, Oct 10, 9:00 AM · Free

About the program
Stammtisch is a drop-in conversation club that meets at the Sinking Spring Public Library on the second Saturday of each month, from 9 to 10 in the morning. People gather over coffee for relaxed talk, discussion and good company. Complimentary coffee is served, and you do not need a library card to take part.
The name comes from a German tradition. A Stammtisch is the regulars' table in a pub or restaurant, where friends, colleagues or club members meet for informal conversation, debate and camaraderie. Similar customs exist in many places, where the same group meets regularly to share ideas and experiences in an easy setting.
You are welcome whether you live in Sinking Spring or are coming from elsewhere. The group meets at the library at 3940 Penn Avenue, Sinking Spring. Just show up at the start time and join the table.
