About the workshop
This Halloween themed nature walk brings families out to Shiloh Hills Park with Naturalist Kathy Grim. Children and grown ups learn about local wildlife, meet wildlife puppets, and make colorful art from leaves. The group then takes a walk in the woods to look for pumpkins tucked along the way, with a spooky prize for finders.
The program runs Sunday afternoons from 1 PM to 2 PM and is free. It is built for families, with ages 3 and up welcome, and strollers can come along. Craft materials are included, so just dress for the weather and for walking outside.
Pre-registration is required, and every person who plans to attend must be registered individually. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian registered to attend with them. Sign up through the Spring Township Parks and Recreation registration page, then check your email in the days before the program for directions and any updates.
