About the workshop
This history program invites you to sit in on a conversation with John Adams, the second President of the United States. He is presented as an imperfect, burdened, but ever-striving man, and the talk covers his upbringing, his family life, and his wife Abigail.
You will also hear about his work as a champion of American independence and the sacrifices he made so the new United States could keep going. There is time to listen and take part in the discussion, so bring your questions about Adams and the founding era.
The program runs on a Saturday afternoon at the Township of Spring Administration Building, 2850 Windmill Rd in Sinking Spring, and is open to adults 18 and up. It is offered free of charge by Spring Township Parks & Recreation as part of their America 250 historical series. Registration is required in advance through the township's online activity registration page. Check the schedule panel for the current date and registration cutoff.
