About the workshop
A guided morning walk on the trails at Nolde Forest Environmental Education Center, offered as an alternative to the Black Friday shopping crowds. Families put down their phones, get some fresh air and take in the woods together.
The hike runs Friday morning and is open to ages 4 and up. Adults are welcome with or without children. Dress for the weather and wear shoes you can walk trails in. Plan on being outdoors for the full session.
Pre-registration is required, and every person attending needs to be registered individually. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also registered. Sign up through the Spring Township Parks and Recreation registration page, then check your email in the days before the program for directions to the site and any updates. If your plans change, let the Parks and Recreation office know so another family can take the spot.
