About the workshop
Owls are busy at night as the year winds down. They call for mates, hunt for nesting spots, and get ready to lay their eggs. On this evening program, Naturalist Kathy Grim leads the group in listening and looking for hard working parent owls.
The group meets on Friday evenings at the State Hill Boat Launch at Blue Marsh Lake and spends about an hour outdoors. Bring a flashlight. Dress for standing outside after dark.
This is part of the Family Nature Series, which is open to adults with or without children. Pre-registration is required, and every person who plans to attend needs to be registered individually. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian registered to come along with them. Sign up through the Spring Township Parks and Recreation registration page.
