My Hero Academia In Concert brings the world of Deku and Class 1-A to the Santander Performing Arts Center stage, pairing a live band with scenes from the anime. A fifteen-piece ensemble performs Yuki Hayashi's score, the music behind the series' quiet moments and its largest battles alike.

The show follows the story arc by arc, with big screen visuals timed to the orchestrations so the training days, the friendships, and the hero showdowns land the way they did on screen. It is built as a journey through the series rather than a straight run of songs.

Longtime fans who have followed the series from the start will recognize plenty, and anyone coming in fresh will find the story easy to follow. It makes for an accessible evening out in downtown Reading for anime fans and for families looking for something a little different.
