Community Shred Day Courtesy of Fleetwood Bank
September 12, 2026 · 9:00 AM · Fleetwood Bank – Blandon Branch, 917 Park Road · Free and open to all

About the event
Fleetwood Bank is opening its Blandon Branch parking lot for a community shred day, giving neighbors a secure way to dispose of documents that carry personal information. Bring what has been stacking up in the closet or the file drawer and watch it go, with the goal of keeping account numbers and personal details out of the wrong hands.
There is a limit of five boxes per car, and there is no need to pull out staples or paper clips first. Accepted items include printer paper of any color, checks, bills, manila and hanging folders, file folders with or without fasteners, spiral notebooks, envelopes, and debit or credit cards. Items that cannot go through the shredder include electronics, three ring binders, phone books, x-rays, hard bound books, newspapers, magazines, carbon paper, laminated or damp paper, large metal pieces, and batteries. The bank may decline items at its discretion.
The service is offered at no cost to the community, and any money that comes in will be given to the Blandon Fire Company. Questions can go to Fleetwood Bank at 610-944-7666.
