Thanksgiving dinner comes together in the Ballroom at DoubleTree by Hilton Reading, where families and friends can settle in for a holiday meal without anyone spending the morning at the stove. The buffet is put together by the hotel's kitchen team and covers the traditional plate along with seasonal dishes made fresh for the day. Live background music plays while guests eat.
The spread starts with butternut squash bisque, Italian wedding soup, and artisan rolls, plus a cold table with a cheese board, garden greens, and a walnut, blue cheese, and cranberry pasta salad. A carving board offers New York strip with Bordelaise and roasted turkey breast with pan gravy, and there is a frittata station with country harvest, smoked salmon and shrimp, and garden vegetable options.
Main dishes and sides include carved turkey with giblet gravy, roasted salmon in lemon butter herb sauce, bread stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry-glazed yams, smoked cheddar mac and cheese, buttered corn, garlic-charred green beans, and rice pilaf. The sweet table finishes things off with pumpkin pie, pecan pie, mini cheesecakes, mango mousse shooters, and assorted small desserts. Validated parking is available, large parties are welcome, and reservations are required.
