Gotta Catch ‘Em All in Reading: PokeKon Fest Brings Pokemon Collectors, Fans, and Families Together

PokeKon Fest turns the DoubleTree by Hilton Reading into a full day built around Pokemon, bringing collectors, gamers, artists, vendors, and families together under one roof. The marketplace is the center of it all, with tables of trading cards, graded and vintage singles, sealed product, video games, figures, plush, artwork, apparel, accessories, and handmade merchandise to browse.
Trading is part of the day too, so bring a binder if you have one. Longtime collectors searching for harder to find pieces and newer fans putting together a first set will find plenty of people to talk to across the room.
Voice actress Lee Quick appears as a special guest for a meet and greet. She was the original English voice of Officer Jenny, a role she carried through the earliest seasons of the animated series and the first run of Pokemon films, which makes her a familiar presence for anyone who grew up with the show. Downtown Reading parking and dining are a short walk from the hotel door.
