Art That Glows is a short art course at the Yocum Institute for Arts Education for young artists ages 5 to 8. As the days get shorter, children brighten the dark with projects that shimmer and shine, from glowing creatures to illuminated lanterns.
Students work with shimmering foil, fluorescent paint, twinkling lights and other materials, and they take their finished projects home. Nadia Pochan teaches the class. It meets on Tuesday afternoons for an hour over five weeks.
Clothes that can get paint on them are a good idea. Registration is handled through the Yocum Institute, and payment is due when you sign up. The schedule panel on this page lists the current dates.
