Art That Glows is a hands on art class for young children at the Yocum Institute for Arts Education. As the days get shorter, students make projects built around light and shine, from glowing creatures to illuminated lanterns.
Artists work with shimmering foil, fluorescent paint, twinkling lights and other materials, and they take their finished projects home. The class is taught by Nadia Pochan and is built for children ages 5 to 8, so no art experience is needed. Dress your child in clothes that can get paint on them.
The class meets on Tuesday afternoons for five weeks. Registration is handled online through the Yocum Institute classes page.
