About the class
Little Artists is a gift making workshop for children ages 3 to 5 at the Yocum Institute for Arts Education. Young students make personalized ornaments and keepsakes for the people they love, using a variety of materials and their own imaginations.
The class is built around the idea that the most meaningful gifts are often the ones made by hand. Children work with different craft materials from week to week, so the handmade treasures that come out of the workshop are often a surprise. Finished pieces go home to be given as gifts.
Sessions meet on Saturday mornings. Dress your child in clothes that can get messy. Sign up through the Yocum Institute's class registration, and note that a member rate is available.
