In this festive ceramics class at the Yocum Institute for Arts Education, children work with clay to make holiday themed projects for the season. Students hand build cheerful decorations such as Christmas trees, ornaments and other holiday shapes.
The class is for ages 5 to 12 and meets on Monday evenings from 7 to 8 PM for three weeks. Rebecca Kline is the instructor. All materials are included, so students just need to come ready to get their hands into the clay. Clothes that can take a little mess are a good idea.
To join, register through the Yocum Institute. Space is set by enrollment, so signing up ahead of the first meeting is best.
