Jim Dietrich Park hosts its Fall Flea Market on Saturday morning, with the grassy parking lot beside the farmhouse filling up with sellers from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM. It is a good stretch of the calendar for browsing, when households are clearing out closets, garages, and attics ahead of the colder months, and shoppers can walk the rows looking for furniture, tools, housewares, collectibles, and whatever else turns up.
Sellers work from 20 by 20 foot spaces and can pull a car right into the spot, which makes loading and unloading simple. Tables are not provided, so bring your own setup. Spaces are assigned as vendors arrive, so groups who want to be side by side should come together, and setup opens at 6:00 AM. Registration is required and the number of spaces is limited.
Local service groups will have refreshments available on site. If the weather does not cooperate, the market shifts to Sunday, September 13.
