LIVE ROLLER DERBY – Reading Roller Derby’s Breast Cancer Support Services fundraising game
October 18, 2026 · 6:30 PM · Skateaway-Shillington, 2275 Lancaster Pike · $9 – $15

About the event
Reading Roller Derby turns its home track at Skateaway in Shillington into a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County, a survivor driven nonprofit that offers hope, information, and emotional and sometimes financial support to people affected by breast cancer in Berks County at no cost. For this one, the league skates against itself: the roster splits into two teams and goes full contact on the flat track, so every big hit and lead jammer call belongs to a hometown skater.
Doors open at 6:30 and the first whistle follows at 7:00. Between jams there is a break a balloon gift card raffle benefiting Breast Cancer Support Services, a 50/50 raffle, league merchandise, and the RDG beer garden for adults. Reading Roller Derby is a member league of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association and a nonprofit built around community support, which shows up in the easy, loud, family friendly crowd at Skateaway.
If you have never watched derby in person, this is a welcoming place to start. The action is fast, the rules get explained as the night goes on, and the cause is close to home.
