About the event
Mannheim Steamroller brings its Christmas program to the Santander Performing Arts Center in downtown Reading. Created by Grammy winner Chip Davis, the show pairs seasonal favorites with the group's signature blend of classical instrumentation and modern studio sound, an approach that has made these arrangements a fixture of the holidays for listeners across the country.
The touring ensemble features 15 musicians playing more than 20 instruments, set against multimedia effects and lighting that move with the music. The scale of the Performing Arts Center keeps the evening intimate, so the quieter passages come through as clearly as the full-ensemble moments.
The program draws on Mannheim Steamroller Christmas classics delivered in the distinctive Mannheim sound, making it a comfortable night out for longtime followers of the group and for anyone looking to start a new holiday tradition close to home.
Hosted by Santander Performing Arts Center on BerksConnect.
