GoggleWorks opens its second and third floors for a self guided studio crawl, giving visitors a look inside the working spaces of the artists who make the former factory on Washington Street their creative home. You set your own pace, wandering the hallways where artwork lines the walls outside studio doors and stopping wherever something catches your eye.

Studio artists are encouraged to be on hand from noon until four, so there is a good chance you will meet the people behind the work, hear about their process, and see projects in progress. It happens on the second Sunday of each month, which makes it an easy afternoon to build into a weekend in downtown Reading.

Bring family, come with a friend, or show up on your own and strike up a conversation. Between the studios, the galleries, and the rest of the campus, there is plenty to fill an afternoon.
