About the event
Begin the morning with a guided yoga session at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary in Kempton, held in partnership with local studio YOGA-B-YOGA. The practice takes place in a temperature controlled indoor space with a wide view of the surrounding landscape, so you get the calm of a studio class along with the scenery of the mountain.
Hawk Mountain sits along the Kittatinny Ridge and is known as a refuge for birds of prey, with trails, overlooks and a visitor center that draw people from across the region year round. A winter morning on the mountain makes a quiet setting to slow down, breathe and pay attention to what is happening outside the windows.
All levels are welcome and no previous yoga experience is needed, so newcomers can join alongside regular practitioners. Bring your own mat and allow extra time to arrive and settle in before the session begins. Space is limited to 15 participants, which keeps the group small and the room comfortable.
