Grateful and Thankful Gratitude Art Class
Starts Sat, Nov 7 · $30 ($20 members) · Ages 7 to 12

About the class

Young artists at the Yocum Institute for Arts Education celebrate the season of thankfulness through art. The class takes its inspiration from the book The Giving Tree, and students explore ideas of kindness, generosity and gratitude as they work.
Students design festive wreaths or trees. Through storytelling, discussion and artmaking, they reflect on the things they are thankful for and make a keepsake to take home and keep. The class is built for children ages 7 to 12 and meets on a Saturday morning.
Spots are held once registration is complete, so sign up through the Yocum Institute to reserve a place.
