Little Artists Mixed Media Class: Pumpkins, Gourds and Turkeys
Starts Sat, Nov 14 · $30 ($20 members) · Ages 3 to 6
About the class
Little Artists is a hands on art workshop from the Yocum Institute for Arts Education. Young children make pumpkins, gourds and turkeys full of pattern and personality, using collage, layering techniques and textures they can touch.
The workshop introduces students to mixed media art while encouraging imagination and fine motor skills. It is built for ages 3 to 6, so expect plenty of cutting, gluing and layering with materials that feel good in small hands. Dress children in clothes that can get messy.
The class meets Saturday mornings. Registration is handled by the Yocum Institute, and a member rate is available.
