About the class
Young artists make pumpkins, gourds and turkeys full of pattern and personality. Along the way they try collage, layering and touchable textures, which is an easy first step into mixed media art.
This hands-on workshop is built for ages 3 to 6. It gives children room to use their imagination while they practice fine motor skills. Expect a messy, busy table, so dress your child in clothes that can take glue and paint.
The class meets Saturday mornings with Yocum Institute for Arts Education. Sign up through Yocum's class registration; payment is due when you register.
