Orange Belts and Intermediate Students Karate Class
Starts Thu, Aug 26 · $105 per month, eligible for family discounts · Ages 6 to 12
About the class
This karate class at Yocum Institute for Arts Education is for current students ages 6 through 12 who have reached the orange, blue, green or green stripe belt levels. It meets on Thursdays as part of the East Coast Karate program.
Students at this level work on sparring, so sparring equipment is required. The equipment is purchased through the department and charged to the parent account on file. Beginning weapons training may also be introduced at this level. We encourage families to buy their student's own weapons, also ordered through the department, and loaner weapons are available for those who need them.
Because the class continues the training students have already begun, it is open to those already enrolled rather than to brand new beginners. To sign up, register through Yocum Institute for Arts Education in West Lawn.
