About the event
The Berks County Wine Trail turns a day of tasting into a way to give back. Ticket holders make their own way around the participating wineries on a self-guided tour, where fall and harvest themed food pairings are matched to wines made right here in the region. A portion of every ticket sold goes to the Berks County Veterans Office, and the wineries will also be collecting donated items, with a list of requested goods shared closer to the date.
The trail is an agricultural nonprofit whose member wineries host joint events showcasing the winemaking and agriculture of the area, and its family run members pour everything from dry European style vinifera to classic fruit wines, sangria, and mead. That range makes for a pleasant afternoon of comparing styles across the countryside, whether you lean toward a Bordeaux red or something sweeter.
One ticket is good at each participating winery on the trail, so you can plan a route that fits your day. Come taste, toast, and support local veterans along the way.
