About the event
JCWK Dance Lab and Alvernia University host an evening of the Summer Dance Series for Adults on campus in Reading. The series is built for studio teachers, college students, and anyone who has been curious about dance but never stepped into a class. Sessions offer different levels and times, so you can find a fit whether you have years of training behind you or none at all.
The teaching roster spans a range of styles across the series, including beginning jazz and intermediate contemporary with Jessica Warchal-King and Arielle Ridley, beginning modern and floor work with Warchal-King and Megan Zalek, and beginning ballet and flamenco with Sarena Gable and Amanda Pena. Each instructor is a working dancer and educator focused on making the room welcoming.
JCWK Dance Lab is directed by Warchal-King, a performer, choreographer, and educator whose work centers on using dance to build joy, connection, and wellness. Comfortable clothes you can move in are all you need to bring.
