About the event
JCWK Dance Lab brings its Summer Dance Series for Adults to Alvernia University, a nine week run of classes built for grown-ups who want to move. The series welcomes studio teachers looking to refresh their training, college students, and anyone stepping into a dance studio for the first time. Classes come with different level options and times, and the instructors are working dancers and educators who teach with an emphasis on joy and connection.
The lineup spans a wide range of styles across three series. Beginning Jazz with Jessica Warchal-King and Intermediate Contemporary with Arielle Ridley open things up, followed by Beginning Modern with Warchal-King and Floor Work with Megan Zalek, then Beginning Ballet with Sarena Gable and Warchal-King plus Flamenco with Amanda Pena.
JCWK Dance Lab is a Berks County based contemporary dance company led by director Jessica Warchal-King, who teaches at Alvernia and has built dance programs for learners of every age and ability. Full class details are available at jcwkdancelab.org/summerseries.
