The Heeler family comes to the stage at the Santander Performing Arts Center when Bluey's Big Play arrives in Reading. The story finds Dad hoping for a quiet stretch on the bean bag while Bluey and Bingo have a very different afternoon in mind, and they bring every game and clever idea they can think of to get him up and playing. This is a live theatrical version of the Emmy award winning children's series, with an original story from Bluey creator Joe Brumm and new music by series composer Joff Bush. The characters are brought to the stage through puppetry, giving longtime viewers a chance to see the family they know from television in a new form. Bluey's Big Play is presented by BBC Studios and Andrew Kay in association with Windmill Theatre Co. It is built for young fans and the grown ups who watch along with them, making it a good fit for a family outing in downtown Reading.
